Welcome to the Office of Instructional Development
The UCLA Office of Instructional Development (OID) supports the instructional mission of the University and enhances teaching and learning opportunities. Through grants, programs and services OID promotes the effective use of current and emerging instructional methodologies and technologies.
OID Podcasting Kits
OID has configured two MAC laptops as podcasting kits to lend to instructors. The laptops include a Logitech USB microphone and are loaded with Profcast, Audacity and Garageband, all of which can be used to create podcasts. The laptops may be checked out and kept for up to a week, or you can use them here. We offer training and support for those using the kit and we'll even drop it off and pick it up when you are finished! For more information and to reserve a podcasting kit, please go HERE.
